Microphone

Continuous listening the microphone is always open (quiet environments) Push-to-talk (noisy environments) the microphone opens only while the hold-to-talk button on the main page is held

Voice (ElevenLabs)

System voice (default) instant, offline, built into this device — quality depends on the device ElevenLabs (cloud) best quality — uses your key below or this lab's test key

Your own ElevenLabs account is used for IGOOR's voice. Leave the key empty to keep this lab's test key. "Test" checks the key and the voice id.

Who is talking

Enroll the voices IGOOR hears around the user: during conversations their name appears next to what they said. Identification works best with at least two enrolled voices.

Voice prints are computed and stored on this device only — nothing is sent to the server. During conversations just the recognized name is transmitted.

Patient's name

IGOOR uses it to personalize its replies and suggestions ("You are IGOOR, an AI that assists Jean"). Leave empty to keep the generic wording.

Language

Applies to the interface, to speech recognition (what the microphone hears) and to IGOOR's replies and suggestions.
